Can I still sell my property during coronavirus isolation?

A guide to selling in the current market.

Are people still buying homes in the local area?

There are still active buyers looking to buy homes. Some people find themselves in situations where they need to move. Others want to buy while interest rates are at an all time low.

Can I list my property for sale while in isolation?

Although we can't visit your property to take full details and take photographs. We can provide you with an accurate valuation using our social distancing valuation tool.

If you have a digital camera or smartphone we can work with you to create the best possible property details. We can edit your pictures to make them look as appealing as possible. When lockdown is over we can visit your home, take new pictures and compose full details.

It may even be possible for us to create a floor plan for your property using details from when you bought your home. If you can provide us with an accurate sketch we can also draw it up. Although we would always recommended it, it is not essential to list your home with a floor plan we can always add it at a later stage.

Are house prices falling?

The last time there was a major drop in house prices in Britain was during the financial crisis. This was caused by very different circumstances than we find ourselves currently faced with. Given the financial support currently being offered by our government the majority of people thanfully find themselves in a stable. One thing is for certain, even if there is a slight drop in house prices this would effect both your sale and purchase and if you are looking to upsize you could end up better off. It is evident that in the past house prices within our region have approximately doubled every 10 years
