Good luck with selling your property

Good luck with selling your property

We are disappointed to learn that you have decided to market your property with another Estate Agent and wish you every success. We wanted to let you know that we are here and happy to assist if required.

I am sure that you will be successful finding a buyer given the current market conditions and the high level of demand for type of property you are selling. However, if you do find yourself disappointed with the level of interest or service you receive, then please feel free to contact us to discuss how Church & Hawes may be able to assist in the future.

Always check the length of sole agency period you have signed, the industry average is between 8/12 weeks but some agents ask for much longer than this 16/20 weeks in some cases. We at Church & Hawes feel this shows that the agent is displaying a distinct lack of confidence in there own ability to sell your property due to this long contract. It is safe to say that even at this early stage, if they have you signed up for the long haul, they could have their mind on requesting price reductions for your home before a buyer can be located.

Please also remember that you may have a 14/28 day cooling off period to cancel any agreement with your agent (If the Terms of Business was signed at the property you were selling and not in the agents office or online).
