Local property Market still active despite financial concerns

Despite rises interest rates rises, Church & Hawes have still been selling and letting homes.

Looking back to the start of October we have decided to assess the data surrounding confidence and activity throughout the Church & Hawes Network. The local lettings market is still very buoyant with 14 lets agreed so far in October with rents having risen approximately 5% over the course of the last 12 months due to a shortage of supply. We have successfully introduced tenants to these properties using our unique Pre Application system in order to make sure that we attract the highest quality tenants for our landlord's properties.

In terms of sales, the Church & Hawes Network has also agreed 14 sales since 1st October this includes a range of property types and values ranging from £222,500 with the most expensive sale agreed fetching £1,100,000 subject to contract.

We have noted a decrease in activity as the market settles down but we have seen the ratio of viewings to sale actually improve as our most serious and proceedable applicants being the ones who are still active and viewing properties.

In more challenging market conditions it is crucial that you choose an Estate or Letting Agent who is the most proficient to market your home to ensure the best price is achieved.
