Top five tips for surviving Easter in isolation

Top five tips for surviving Easter in isolation

Easter 2020 looks set to be very different to previous years with trips to the beach and BBQ's with family (other than those who reside in your household) forbidden. We have looked at ways to make Easter more enjoyable with the current social distancing rules in place.

Easter Egg Hunt

Who does not enjoy an Easter Egg hunt? We realise that you cannot invite your immediate family around to grab their baskets and fill them with chocoalate this year but we have included this for the younger members of the household to enjoy.

We hope that if they manage to spot all the eggs and will be rewarded with some chocolate.

A visit from the Easter Bunny

Why not arrange for the Easter Bunny to join the Easter celerations this year? We located an app available on android or apple devices that allows you to picture the Easter Bunny in your own home. Click her to download on an Android or Apple device.

Easter themed Arts and Crafts

We can't get enough of Arts and Crafts in our house at the moment! With the recycling collections currently on hold we can guarantee that you will not be short of an egg box or seven this Easter. In true Blue Peter Fashion, here's some we made earlier:

We also found some pretty impressive Easter masks available to download online.

Easter Themed Baking

Baking through the boredom has been a common theme on Social Media Channels this Easter. I have seen everything from Easter Biscuits to Easter nest cakes, it seems that healthy eating has been well and truly put on hold. Click here for some awesome recipes for inspiration this Easter.

Easter Bingo

We realise it is important to have some interaction whilst social distancing and one we have personally tried with great success was BINGO! Allocate and share your Bingo tickets via email once your participants have been confirmed CLICK HERE to download a book of tickets to share.

Once you are all set, log onto a zoom meeting inviting all the participants to join with your tickets and markers in hand!

One participant will have to take the roll of caller and it is useful for them to screenshare with the rest of the party so they can check their tickets. Use a web page to share the numbers as below:

We hope you enjoy some of our suggestions this Easter and look forward to seeing any pictures that you'd like to share with us.

Despite the social distancing recommendations being in place we hope you all have a very Happy Easter.

Stay Safe.
