Coronavirus - An update from Church & Hawes

The latest update from Church & Hawes Estate Agents amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

As new measures have been recommended by the government in relation to social distancing and with the schools being shut with the exception of key workers, we wanted to give our customers and our community an update on what we’re doing to protect our staff and those around us.

We are taking measures to ensure we keep our staff and clients as safe as possible from COVID 19. Church & Hawes Estate Agents will now be avoiding handshakes with clients on appointments. Please do not be offended, this is purely a precaution to protect our customers and staff. Prior to any viewing, house visit or valuation, please inform us if you think you have or do have symptoms.

We want to assure everyone that we’re still open, while still working and striving to do the best by our customers we are available to answer any questions and queries you may have. We will aim to continuously be on hand for our Sellers, Buyers, Landlords and Tenants.

If you are a local business and you would like us to share and promote your business at this difficult time we are happy to share your details with our social media followers to increase awareness of your company as we get through this crisis we hope this will generate new opportunities.

If you’re a vulnerable person in need of a helping hand or you’re self isolating, please don’t hesitate to drop us a message, we can try and assist with shopping and anything else - we would love to help where we can! We can put you in touch with many of the local groups who are coming together to minimize the impact of Coronavirus. We are here for our community!

For everyone else, feel free to call or email anytime – to protect our staff we have made some changes with some of our employees being away from their usual offices and may be implementing some work at home situations in the future, but we are ALWAYS contactable.

We will get through this and hopefully our local community will grow stronger. We hope everyone keeps well. We have been selling local homes since 1977 we will continue to do so into the future.

We will follow the government issued guidelines on COVID 19 which can be found here - https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public
